The residential blocks between 22nd and 24th avenues surrounding Citizens Park — Edgewater's six-acre community green with a ball field, picnic pavilion, horseshoe courts, and playground. Homes here are a mix of 1930s-40s bungalows and 1950s-60s ranches, typically 900 to 1,500 square feet. This is the geographic center of the city, equidistant from the 25th Avenue shops to the north and the Edgewater Public Market to the south.
