West Edgewater / Harlan Street Area

The western reaches of Edgewater along Harlan Street — the boundary with Lakewood — where lots run slightly larger and the pace feels quieter than the busier eastern corridors. Homes are primarily 1950s-70s ranches and bi-levels, many with detached garages and backyard space uncommon in the rest of this compact city. Walker Branch Park, Edgewater's largest green space at 13 acres with a skate park, playground, and gazebos, anchors the southwest corner. Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge is directly accessible. Less walkable to 25th Avenue's shops but more room to spread out.
